Recover your waste solvents easily
With great results every time! It's as easy as 1.... 2..... 3
Safety The units are manufactured in accordance with all relevant European directives. Every unit has inbuilt safety devices that prevent over-heating, monitor distillate temperature and will stop if any malfunction is detected. All units are TUV approved, self certified CE and explosion-proof models are ATEX II 2G certified suitable for use in zone 1. Industrial Fields of Application Mechanical, electronic, chemical, pharmaceutical, paints, plastics, GRP, automotive body shops, wood, tanning, precious metals, printing (flexographic and lithographic) and many more. |
Operating Principle Solvent distillation allows the re-use of solvents from many different applications. No matter what industry you are in, most solvents can be recovered through a simple distillation process, the polluting products are separated (resins, pigments, paints, inks, greases, oils etc) from the original solvent, which is recovered for re-use again and again.
The contaminants remain as a residue inside, collected in a Recbag for easy disposal in Distatic units, the Dynamic and Industrial units have internal scrapers which do not require Recbags. The solvent characteristics remain unchanged and are not altered by the process, consequently the process can be continually repeated.
How does it work The boiling of the polluted solvent takes place in a boiler made of stainless steel. A heating shell containing diathermic oil is heated by one or more electric units. The vapours produced are condensed by either air or water depending on the model and application. The condensed solvent is collected in a drum or tank and is ready for re-use. During operation no solvent vapours are allowed to escape. Easy to use The distillation cycle is fully automatic, the operator only has to load the solvent (on smaller manual systems), set the distillation time and the temperature, and finally, unload the solid and/or liquid residues. Solvent is collected in a can. A wide range of options are available including vacuum systems, automatic loading and unloading, quick cooling and many more. Contact us for more information.
